Edward Palash

was born in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Toledo, Ohio, served in the US Navy in WWII, and graduated from the University of Toledo. For the past 14 years, he has studied at the Glen Echo Yellow Barn studio under the teaching of abstract artist Helen Corning, exhibiting in group exhibitions since 1992 at the Glen Echo Tower Gallery, the Yellow Barn Gallery in Glen Echo, MD and Picasso Gallery in Washington, DC.  Palash especially enjoys the experimental freedom and challenge of discovering and exploring a range of non-objective painting ideas…ideas which may then be further developed within his own special harmonies of composition, form, and color, inviting the viewer’s imagination to join in.
