OUT LOUD! is a group that shares a common vision.  Styles range from mysterious, or meditative, to active, exciting, and/or playful.  But all are guided by the principles of classic abstract art, and all are non-objective.

OUT LOUD! aims to help make non-representational art more accessible and appreciated by viewers.  “Perhaps more than other types of art,” said Tory Cowles, one of the members of OUT LOUD, “non-representative painting depends on the eye of the beholder.”  The perspectives of these painters, differing as they do, are sure to create controversy and discussion.

Individually the artists belong to several galleries and have shown work in a large number of venues.  Together OUT LOUD created an earlier show at Glen Echo Park’s Yellow Barn.  The artists are:  Shaune Bazner, JoAnn Clayton, Tory Cowles, Helen Corning, Carol A. Jason, Donna Grossman, Donna McGee, Michiyo Mizuuchi, Bobbie Salthouse, Mary E. Wagner, and Amy Wilson.
